A historical moment in Malta's Telecoms history - Huawei Peace Project

This is the first project for Malta, resulting in greater redundancy on international connectivity. Maltaβs economy and social well-being depend on its connections to the rest of the world.
πππ€ππ«πππ¨ π°ππ¬ ππ¨π§ππ«πππππ π―π’π Huawei Marine Networks Co.Ltd. ππ¨π« ππ‘π π₯ππ§π-πππ¬ππ π°π¨π«π€π¬. We installed over 8 telecom cabinets containing high density DWDM optical amplifiers, routers and switches connected via thousands of cables. We also installed the three cable termination cubicles for both fibre optic strands and earth connections and the critical cable pull between the landing station and the cable which is buried beneath the beach.
